HOW-TO: How do I add an Airbnb reservation?

Airbnb recently updated its policy to no longer share guest emails or phone numbers.  VRPAccess requires an email address, but we have added a way for you to add Airbnb reservations with no email address.
Steps:
  1. Fill out New Reservation details like all other reservations
  2. Toggle “Airbnb Reservation” to ON.  This will allow you to leave email address and phone blank.
  3. Confirmation Number: You can add an alt Airbnb confirmation number if you have one.
  4. Fill out the remaining guest information
  5. Click the “Add Reservation”

Parking Pass Registration for AirBnB guests:

If you cannot provide the guest email or phone with the reservation and you cannot send them a link, QR code, or guest portal website address, you still need to enter the reservation into the system so they can register using these options:
  1. QR code Sign: When they arrive on the property, they can scan the QR code on the parking signs in the garages and also at the service desk (if available) to access the guest portal. They will log in with their confirmation number and last name. Some properties also allow guest self-registration if they do not have any confirmation number.  Once logged in, they can purchase up to the maximum number of parking spots allowed in their unit and register their vehicles. 
  2. At the Service Desk: The final option is to obtain their parking pass at the service desk (if available) when they check in.

Yes, here is some text you can copy and paste into your website.  Be sure to edit the parking pass cost, specific to each building.  If you are not able to collect an email for your guests, there is a revised version.

Text for Guests with Email:

Parking: You will receive a parking registration email after your reservation is made and you are encouraged to purchase your parking passes prior to arrival. Parking passes cost $XX per vehicle.  The maximum number of passes that can be purchased for this unit is XX but based upon occupancy of the complex during your stay, it might be possible to purchase additional passes at the building’s service desk (if available) (note: additional passes likely won’t be available during peak seasons).

Text for Guests with NO Email:

Parking: You are encouraged to purchase parking passes prior to arrival. You can also scan the QR code on parking signs when you arrive on property. Parking passes cost $XX per vehicle.  The maximum number of passes that can be purchased for this unit is XX but based upon occupancy of the complex during your stay, it might be possible to purchase additional passes at the building's service desk (if available) (note: additional passes likely won’t be available during peak seasons).
