Trailer Parking

Trailer Parking

VRPAccess now allows you to create paid parking passes for trailers in the parking lot.  Additionally, some guests may be eligible for free overflow parking options in designated overflow lots.

Trailer Parking Rules

  1. Trailer parking passes can be created by attaching them to registered vehicles in the system.
  2. The vehicle must have a registered parking pass to add a trailer parking pass to it.  The trailer pass is a paid pass like all other parking passes.
  3. For some reservations, trailer parking passes can also be created for overflow lots (free) in addition to the main lot (paid).
  4. Since trailers cannot have printed parking passes, you will write the parking pass number onto a wristband to attach.

Create a Trailer Parking Pass

  1. Locate the registered parking pass you wish to “Add a Trailer”
  2. Under the registered parking pass card dropdown, choose “Add Trailer”
  3. Assign the trailer to an overflow lot (specific guests only - free) or the main parking lot (available to everyone - paid)
  4. If there is a license plate, state, and color for the trailer you can add under "Edit Pass” in the dropdown.  This is not required
  5. If payment is due, it will show the amount due and payment is taken like a normal parking pass.  Cost will vary depending on building.
  6. Once the trailer parking pass is in the system, you will see the parking pass number you can write onto the trailer wristband.  Trailer parking passes are not printed.

Trailer Parking Tips

  1. Below is an overflow pass created in the system with an attached overflow trailer parking pass.  They show no cost.  If a payment is due, it will show the amount and allow you to take payment.
  2. You will see the pass number for the trailer at the top above the lot name.
